Numbers on a timer fade. A bottle that glows when you concentrate gives your brain a reason to stay — here's the idea behind FocusBottle's light particles.
A timer tells you the time. Light tells you the story.
Most focus apps show a shrinking bar or a counting number. Accurate, but flat. Your brain tunes out a number it has seen a hundred times. FocusBottle takes a different path: while you concentrate, light particles inside a bottle move, gather and brighten in real time.
Why visible progress works
Progress you can see is progress your brain rewards. When the bottle responds to your attention — more active, more beautiful as you go deeper — focusing stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like tending something alive. That small, constant feedback is what pulls you back when your mind wanders.
The bottle grows with you
The same light has stages. Early on it's a glass bottle with faint white sparks; later it becomes crystal, starlight, then aurora. Each level is just a record of time you actually spent — so the glow is never fake, it's yours. Start one session and the first sparks will explain the idea better than any paragraph.
